Illinois Community College System Foundation Healthcare Scholarship (ICCSF)

The Illinois Community College System Foundation Healthcare Scholarship, funded each year by a grant from the Illinois Community College System Foundation, provides financial assistance to deserving students enrolled in healthcare programs that provide direct medical care to individual patients. Scholarship monies may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, study guides and other expenses directly related to the health field curricula while enrolled in City Colleges of Chicago.

Up to $800

Eligibility Criteria:
• Must be a resident of Illinois;
• May be either full or part-time, but must demonstrate a desire to complete a health career program;
• Must be enrolled in a health care program that provides direct medical care to individuals;
• Minimum 2.5 GPA and in good standing in the selected health care program;
• Committed in his/her intent to practice in Illinois or in an area out of state directly benefiting residents of Illinois (i.e., a city/town near Illinois’ border where residents of Illinois seek primary health care);
• Student must demonstrate a financial need;
